  • Microneedling can improve the appearance of surgical scars, especially if performed early after surgery, with best results if done within 6 to 7 weeks. Microneedling can also help reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

The Beck Plan

  1. We will apply a topical numbing cream to ensure you are comfortable for your treatment. 

  2. (This part sounds worse than it feels, we promise!) Fine needles puncture the skin, causing controlled micro-injuries that stimulate the body’s natural wound healing, the release of cytokines and growth factors, and stimulation of collagen and elastin. 

  3. After treatment, we recommend a Beck post-procedure kit for you to use in the days after your treatment while healing.

Frequently asked questions

  • It is common to notice redness immediately after the procedure, however this should not prevent you from returning to work after your treatment. We recommend scheduling treatments around your work schedule if you are apprehensive.

  • Results commonly become noticeable within one week after treatment and improve with time. When treating skin concerns such as melasma and deep lines and wrinkles, it can take several treatments before noticing results.

  • Results from treatment are permanent. We recommend diligent lifestyle measures and a Beck skin care routine to maintain results.
